1. Parking: Why am I required to park my car “head in”?| a. The Insurance Company states that it is an Association liability for the use of the sidewalk as some trucks, cars will extend over the sidewalk and someone could be hurt. For the safety of everyone, the Association requires that everyone park “head-in”.
2. Where do I dump my trash?
a. In the dumpster located at the south end of the property behind the while gates. Please close the tops of the dumpster and the gates securely when you are finished.
3. What About Recycling?
a. The green recycling bins are located at the south end of the property to the right of the dumpster. Each bin has a list of the items only to be placed into the bins. Waste Pro empties the bins on Wednesday, weekly. It the bins have things that are not on the list, they may decide to not let us do recycling. Please, only put the items that reauthorized by Waste Pro.
4. What cannot go into the dumpsters, & rules about dumping things other than trash?
a. You may not put bedding, furniture, or appliances into the dumpster. Those items need to be taken to the local dump and dropped off. If you are receiving new bedding then ask the company to remove the old ones, this applies to appliances also. As for furniture, please take it to the dump or donate it to the Salvation Army, Good Will, Red Cross, and there are several thrift shops on US 1.
5. Where is the community Bulletin Board? Can anyone use this and post things?
a. The Bulletin Board is right across from the mail boxes. The key to open the doors is left in the lock at all times for use by owners.
b. Owners may post this in it as long as it is appropriate.
6. When and where is the Annual Meeting?
a. The Galleon Association Annual Meeting is held on the first Saturday in February. It starts around 11 am and the north end of the parking lot. Mailed notices are sent to all owners, so please use the website to keep your mailing address up to date.
7. When does the Association do its Repairs and Maintenance Inspections?
a. The Board does the walk around either just before the Annual meeting or just after the meeting. The list is compiled and then letters are sent to all owners that need to have some work done.
8. Who do I complain to if there is a problem?
a. If the problem is related to Landscaping, sprinklers, or common area maintenance, please contact Scott Benham who is and Board member and the Association's on-site maintenance person, Please refer to the contact information page for this phone number.
b. If there is a problem with noise, animals, or other things please contact the Board President Please refer to the contact information page for Peter’s number.
c. Owners may also call the management company directly if they do not wish to speak with Board members. Please refer to the contact information page for phone numbers.
9. Where can I get a key for the gated Beach Access?
a. Please contact Lucy Riordan at. Lucy Riordan coralcovetreasurer@gmail.com is the Treasurer of the Coral Cove HOA. Tobi Tobi Schelin. is the secretary coralcovehoaowners@gmail.com. The beach access for the entire Coral Cove Subdivision is available by annual membership and a one-time-key purchase. The annual membership (which pays for the ongoing maintenance of the accessway which is the subdivision’s legal obligation) is $50.00 per year. The one-time key purchase is $30.00. Owners need to handle this directly with the Coral Cove Association.
